I provide direction on how one can effectively structure strategic portfolios that are primed to deliver your outcomes.
Programs provide the ability to deliver benefits via groups of projects working together on achieving larger shared gains. Program management is your link between project benefits and portfolio outcomes. In this space, I ensure projects are resourced, financed and structured to deliver using regular communication channels, executive performance reporting, training and workshop sessions.
Projects are traditionally scoped with such output measures like targets on time, budget and quality. They should be defined by firm deliverables and expectations set by business leaders. I deliver project outputs within tolerances by numerous methods such as PMBoK, Prince@, BPR and personally customised methods.
The Program Management Office (PMO) is the brain of the project organisation and should be seen as a centre of excellence in maintaining project management methodology, governance, reporting, tools, templates, processes, continuous learning, training and development. I design, revitalise and gear PMOs will long-term cost savings.
The management of issues and risks is an integral part of project managment however also a separate focused service. There is risk in everything we do; prompting us to proactively implement treatment activities. I build customised structures using experience, industry methodologies and standards to manage issues and risk and discover opportunities.
